A Kashmiri-Bengali Love Story: When Two Traditions Tied the Knot with Bonvera
At Bonvera, we get to be part of some of the most heartwarming stories—and this one is truly close to our hearts. In a world full of grand weddings, this intimate union between Purvi, our graceful Kashmiri bride, and Debhrid, the charming Bengali groom, reminded us of what truly matters: love, family, and heartfelt traditions.
When Kashmir Met Bengal

While we may not know the full love story behind how Purvi and Debhrid met, what we do know is that their wedding was a perfect harmony of cultures. From the elegant Kashmiri pheran-inspired outfits to the vibrant Bengali shankha pola rituals, the entire celebration was a soulful blend of traditions—and we loved every second of it!
An Intimate Celebration with Deep Roots

This wasn't your typical big fat Indian wedding. With a guest list under 100, this wedding was all about creating memories with those who matter most. The couple brought us on board six months before D-day, and we got to work planning the entire experience—right from decor, RSVP management, guest logistics, and personalized elements that reflected both cultures beautifully.
The families on both sides were incredibly warm, supportive, and hands-on, which made our job even more enjoyable. It was truly a family affair with everyone contributing to make Purvi and Debhrid’s special day unforgettable.
Tradition Took Center Stage

Every little detail was designed with love and intention. The wedding décor fused Kashmiri elegance with Bengali vibrance, featuring soft florals, earthy palettes, and traditional elements like kangris, diyas, conch shells, and alpana designs.
The Kashmiri rouf music flowed into Bengali baul tunes, and we witnessed a cultural medley that was magical, emotional, and full of joy.

A Big Shoutout to the Dream Team
